Advice on a dress for New Years’ Eve?
I have bought this dress http://www.republic.co.uk/Dresses/Miso-Peacock-Dress/invt/82805 and I just wanted to make sure that I’m not going to look a bit ‘mutton dressed as lamb!’
I’m 29, size 8, 5 ft 10 and I am going to wear it with black leggings, black leg warmers and purple ballet pumps.
Opinions please! Thank you 
Cutegirl2 – good suggestion about the heels, but I can’t wear them I’m afraid because I have bad hip joints, so I have to wear flats…
Also it is a UK size 8, not US 8 …

having said that, I saw some leggings today, i asked my husband was I too old for them, my usually flattering 7 year old said yes. lol
edit: not flattering? you’re tall and slim, you are perfect for flats.
