Will the U.S. really participate in Olympic games in China?
China has no freedom of press.
China is nortorious for human rights violation.
China has the worst air pollution in the world.
Chinese food is dangerous.
Will the athlets be safe in Beijing?
China would have to answer to the entire world if anything were allowed to harm or endanger any athletes. It would be their ticket out of the civilized community of nations. Many countries, including the US, routinely bring their own food supplies, equipment & chefs to the Olympics. I agree that there are a lot of strikes against China, but I can’t believe they would cause a problem on purpose..
